Fake Eyelashes: Part One

Long eyelashes are a feature than girls are most envious of. You just bat them at a nearby hunk and you’ve got yourself a date for the night. So how can you actually get long eyelashes?

Get fake ones!

I walked into Boots the other day in search of fake eyelashes, as I was curious; I’ve never worn them before in my life! It took me a while to actually find them, but once I did I began scouting for my new pair of lush lashes.

Ruby and Millie eyelash kit caught my eye at first; great brand and nice looking lashes. Unfortunately the price was £13 for one pair and some glue. I wasn’t impressed with the price at all!

Then, I saw a whole range of Eylure eyelash products. There were some pre-glued eyelashes priced at £4.95; I thought my experience would be easy once I saw those! However, I’ve been told to do the proper experience; glue and all. These eyelashes were not for me today.

The post-glued eyelashes were just next door and were priced at £5.49. These came in various styles too, such as thin and thick. I decided that if I chose this product, I would have to buy the thin style, as my eyelashes are quite short and thin.

Eylure also do individual eyelashes extensions, but I’m guessing you’d need to be an eyelash to put them on! They were priced at £4.99.

Revlon also had some fake eyelashes, priced at £5.99. They were very similar to the Eylure thin lashes, but that was the only style they came in.

So I chose the Eylure post-glued, thin eyelashes, priced at £5.95. Tonight I attempt to put them on for the first time ever! Don’t forget to read tomorrow to see how I got on.

Wish me luck!
