Ladies, time to show off your shades!

Summer is approaching, so I'd say: "The bigger, the better".

At least that's what I've been seeing.
These are our friends to protect our eyes from the sun. Today we find them not only used when you are actually in the sun but at any time. The Hilton sisters even wear them to a fashion show.

Of course, the sunglasses which the celebrities wear are from designer brands such as Gucci, Dior, Prada or  Bvlgari. Plus, let’s face it – the prices are way out of reach.

Luckily we’ve got high street department stores and online shopping where we can actually afford a pair or two.

ASOS is probably 'the' best place to go search for anything!

They've got a huge selection of sunglasses just for you, in different shapes and sizes.

Most celebrities, like Lindsay Lohan, Paris Hilton, Mary-Kate Olsen and Nicole Richie go for the more rounder shapes and so that it covers up most of their eye.

Like them, I prefer the darker shades to the lighter ones. I feel like there's much more mystery behind it. Here is a selection of sunglasses from ASOS similar to the ones of young female celebs.

I found these tips on how to find sunglasses that match your facial shape:

Oval - these people are lucky as most styles of sunglasses look great on them! Usually they complement your eyebrows shape.

Square - look for narrow styles, try oval or round frames which contrast your square features.

Triangle - stay away from bold colours like red or green, try sunglasses that minimize your face.

Inverted Triangle (Heart shaped) - select sunglasses that widen your face, frames that sit low on your temples are good.

Round - look for sunglasses that lengthen and slim your face, square or rectangular frames are best.

Diamond - the sunglasses you are looking for should widen your forehead while downplaying your cheekbones. So rounded, straight or square frames are suggested.

Hope this helps!
