So how can we achieve Nash’s outstanding look?
Well firstly, if you’re not a redhead her hair is the most difficult aspect of her appearance. Sorry out there to all you blondes! But if you’re brunette, black or even redhead yourself, this look will only take about half an hour!
Adding Nice ‘n’ Easy’s Dark Auburn 112 to your natural colour will bring out Kate’s beautiful red locks in your own hair. You can buy this hair dye for £4.49 from Boots. (Always be careful when using hair dying products. Always read the instructions before using them.)
Kate’s makeup is very basic, but suits her colouring perfectly. For the face, I suggest using Rimmel Press Powder Anti Shine, priced at £3.69. This powder doesn’t make your whole face shine, like foundations do and also evens out skin tones.
Also, Kate’s cheeks are very natural, but that extra bit of colour and shine to the face. I would suggest using Benefit Dandelion blusher, priced at £22.50. Even though it’s a bit pricey, it certainly does the job. However, if you wish to spend slightly less on a blusher then I suggest Natural Collection Blushed Cheeks, priced at £1.99. This blusher is fragrance free and adds a natural hint to your cheeks.
Kate has big lashes, so using Benefit BADgal lash mascara is perfect; no need for those fake eyelashes! She’s also wearing silver eye shadow, so I suggest trying 17 Solo Eyeshadows in shade Newt to give those lids the boost they deserve.
And finally for the lips, I suggest using pink colours to give the natural look, so using No.7 Sheer Temptation lipstick in shade ‘15 Tempt’ is perfect.
So what about the outfit? How do we get that?
This black party dress with a bow collar is a great example of Topshop’s new bow trend and is priced at £45. You also need a cardigan to cover up the shoulders, so this cream number from Miss Selfridge, priced at £32 is perfect.
To finish off the look you need some black tights and black shoes. Tights can be bought from practically everywhere, but I usually buy mine from Boots; a pack of five costs £4.50. Also take a blast from the past and read my post from yesterday about little black shoes. Those shoes are perfect for an outfit like this.
So now you’re ready to go and party on down! Enjoy the Kate Nash look!
